Back in Pommen, Karl Götzinger, the son of a mining big shot, felt the itch to break free from the family mold. In 1863, he packed his bags and headed to Vienna, where he found himself cooking for the crew building the city's new Ringstrasse. Now, Karl had a knack for whipping up a mean Black Pudding sausage

Difficult generally to find good quality European sausages in Australia, Eve's Smallgoods is a one stop shop for the highest quality. The Debreciner in particular is one which is difficult to find made authentically and with quality ingredients and traditional skills that you don't find much here anymore. My Viennese step-father always stocks up when he visits from interstate.
