We currently have a position available for an experienced smallgoods maker
We would prefer a Master Smallgoods Maker of European qualification but we are also happy to speak to you if you have extensive experience in Continental Smallgoods making in Australia.
You must be able to work 30 plus hours per week. We are looking for someone to start immediately.
It goes without saying that if you are an experienced smallgoods maker you will be able to competently complete the following tasks;
- Safe food handling and high level of hygiene
- Work both independently and as a member of the team.
- Follow recipes and have knowledge in mixing spices
- Know how to competently use the following machines; mincer, tumbler, pickle injector, filler, vacuum packing machine.
- You must have knowledge of all butchering techniques in addition to smallgoods making.
- You must be able to supervise and direct other team members.
- Job description includes all aspects of work in a smallgoods manufacturing plant including cleaning and packing product.
